Do I need to know anything technical?

How fast is it?

Answers take about 10 to 30 seconds depending on your computer. It runs on your processor, not a giant data center, so it trades a little speed for total privacy.

Can I get new models later?

Yes. The drive includes a built in installer. Run it, pick from the menu, or paste a link to any compatible model from HuggingFace. New models download to the drive and everything keeps running offline after that.

I moved the drive to a new computer and got an error.

Close the error and double click the launcher again. It clears the old computer's cached settings automatically and starts fresh.
